Co-directors Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado, who wowed audiences a plenty with the slasherless slasher RABIES, return.
Expectation and anticipation is undoubtedly high for BIG BAD WOLVES, the second feature from the Israeli team of Keshales and Papushado. Their first horror film, RABIES (KALEVET), and a first for Israel, was a witty, surprisingly fresh, dark tale of youth run amok in the woods. It also contained a healthy distrust of authority, which looks to carry over in BIG BAD WOLVES, a film about brutal murders and the three men whose lives are most impacted by them. Twitch revealed the poster and synopsis:
"A series of brutal murders puts the lives of three men on a collision course: The father of the latest victim now out for revenge; a vigilante police detective operating outside the boundaries of law; and the main suspect in the killings, a religious studies teacher arrested and released due to a police blunder."
BIG BAD WOLVES is now in post production.
