Jane Levy, star of the upcoming EVIL DEAD remake and TV's SUBURGATORY has joined a tale of gothic terror as a porcelain doll's nanny. Amazing!

IN A DARK PLACE, from director Bharat Nalluri, finds a young American woman (Levy) swept away to England where she'll work as a governess on a large estate for, once again, a porcelain doll, THR reports. The family who hired her treats said doll like their own son, and once they've gone away for a spell, the governess begins to suspect it may, in fact, be alive. 

DEAD SILENCE (which is really enjoyable!) seems to have put a damper on the dummy/doll come-to-life angle. A shame, as even just the concept is kind of endlessly eerie. "Bring it back," I cry! Maybe IN A DARK PLACE will do so.
