HOUSE OF THE DEVIL star Jocelin Donahue has joined INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 2, and her role reveals a bit about where the film could go.
Variety announced the casting of Donahue as a young Lorraine Lambert, the role originated by Barbara Hershey in James Wan and Leigh Whannell's 2010 haunted house film. Of course, in the latter half of INSIDIOUS, much was made about Josh Lambert's (Patrick Wilson) previous dealings with astral projection and the supernatural, so delving into that past seems entirely appropriate. Lin Shaye is also reprising her role of medium Elise Rainier, and it's likely we'll see her part in young Josh's ordeal, as well.
INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 2 co-stars Rose Byrne and Barbara Hershey. The film is currently in-production and offering a chance for die-hard fans to win a walk-on role via video auditions.
