The highly anticipated sequel to last year's frenzied, first-person anthology previews the zombies, shaking cameras and birthday cake to come. 

We're a few days out from seeing just what the intensely exciting lineup of S-VHS has in store. Contemporary found footage godfather Eduardo Sanchez (THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT), candy colored Canadian cinematic anarchist Jason Eisener (HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN), a teamup between Gareth Evans (action masterpiece THE RAID) and the gentleman behind one of ABCS OF DEATH's most gonzo segments, Timo Tjahjanto as well as returning duo Adam Wingard & Simon Barrett (the latter of which making his directorial debut) is an ensemble that should reach feverish heights of fun, frights and wrong. 

Our first glimpse of what to expect is here. It's brief, kinetic and packs promise. S-VHS sees two private investigators, searching for a missing student, break into his abandoned house and find another collection of mysterious VHS tapes. In viewing the horrific contents of each cassette, they realize there may be terrifying motives behind the student’s disappearance.

S-VHS premieres Saturday, January 19 at 11:45 p.m. Fango will be on hand, expect a review and interviews to follow! EW premiered.
