One of Stephen King's most recent, epic tomes comes to the small screen this June.
Miniseries adapted from Stephen King novels, while not always of top quality, are like comfort food. A staple of my own youth and that of plenty others, it's almost warming to know a new one is on the way. This time, CBS tackles UNDER THE DOME with comic book and television writer Brian K. Vaughan (HEROES, LOST, Y: THE LAST MAN).
Published in 2009, UNDER THE DOME is set in Chester’s Mill, Maine, where a mysterious force field suddenly descends and seals the town off from the outside world, and those trapped inside begin to turn on each other. CBS has announced the series will premiere Monday, June 24 at 10 p.m. with the first looks coming courtesy of Superbowl Ads.
