This is a match made in creature-feature heaven: Tibor Takács, director of ICE SPIDERS, and Nu Image, the company behind SPIDERS and SPIDERS 2, are teaming up for SPIDER in 3-D!
Nu Image hasn’t announced much about the movie besides listing Takács (also responsible for THE GATE and its sequel) as the man behind the camera and this description of the plot: “A new species of poisonous spider is discovered in the caves of Afghanistan and inadvertently makes its way to New York City where it mutates to gigantic proportions and wreaks havoc on the entire city.” We’ll keep you informed as we find out more about this project.
