The FRIGHT NIGHT remake casting is shaping up and now word has come as to who will take over as the smoothest vampire on Charley Brewster’s block.
Deadline is reporting that the smoothest Irishman on our block, Colin Farrell will be grabbing the baton from Chris Sarandon to play the remake’s incarnation of Jerry Dandridge. He joins the already announced Anton Yelchin and Toni Collette. The film will be directed by LARS AND THE REAL GIRL’s Craig Gillepsie and like the original, focus on a teen who becomes suspicious that his new lady-killing next-door neighbor is a vampire.
No word on if they’ll be ironically looking to gay porn to cast Evil Ed.
