When ad agency Zulu Alpha Kilo of Toronto, Canada (FANGORIA editor Chris Alexander’s home base) approached Fango about creating a line of gently twisted, creative advertisements promoting Fango subscriptions this holiday season, the pitch was perfect. Click past the jump to check ’em out!

The macabre minds at the agency (specifically senior copywriter Nick Asik and senior designer Mo Bofill) spearheaded a wicked photo shoot featuring gingerbread-man-on-gingerbread-man violence—the perfect black-comic seasonal hook to beef up our Toronto readership. Posters were made, and the streets of Toronto will be saturated this week with them. Lovely!

Zulu Alpha Kilo was founded in July 2008 by president and executive creative director Zak Mroueh. Everyone in the agency belongs to one company-wide creative group of free-spirited, collaborative thinkers working toward the agency’s core principle: The world needs more creativity. We think this nifty campaign is certainly evidence of that, and hope you do too. And if you’re in Toronto, take a photo of yourself in front of one of these ads and we’ll run it!
