Fledgling Toronto film festival Blood in the Snow was a staggering success in this, its first year.
Featuring tons of premieres of horror and thrillers made 100% in Canada, the festival (the brainchild of Fango contributor and movie buff Kelly Michael Stewart) was a celebration of that independent spirit that Canada has feted ever since the salad days of early Cronenberg and genre film machine Cinepix.
Instead of a detailed festival report, filmmaker Zachary Ramelan sculpted a passionate, rapid fire video featuring clips, interviews and visuals that capture the fun vibe that encompassed the entire three day run (November 30th-December 2nd) of the festival.
