One of next year’s most eagerly anticipated horror films now
has a specific opening date.
Fango just got an announcement about the novelization of Rob
Zombie’s THE LORDS OF SALEM that reveals that the movie will hit screens April
26, 2013. The book version, from Grand Central Publishing, will actually come
out over a month earlier, on March 12; it was written by Zombie himself with
multiple-award-winning horror author B.K. Evenson. “The book offers a different
experience from the film since it can obviously go into much more detail,”
Zombie says. “The book and the film really complement each other.”
Adds Grand Central executive editor Ben Greenberg, “As a horror junkie and a fan of Rob’s work, I am thrilled that GCP will be publishing this novel. THE LORDS OF SALEM is Rob’s first original horror story since the great THE DEVIL’S REJECTS, and it delivers exactly what his fans have been waiting for.”
