THE LEAGUE's Katie Aselton helms a tale of a New England island getaway and the deadly ordeal that ensues.
BLACK ROCK, starring Aselton, Kate Bosworth and Lake Bell, sees three friends reunite off the coast of Maine only to find themselves threatened by three hunters. The film premiered earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival to widely mixed reviews and seemed to evoke a whole spectrum of opinion. If BLACK ROCK is good, this overwrought trailer is selling it short. Its stars certainly look game, but is there more to it than elements we've seen plenty of times before?
