If you’re in the Toronto area this weekend, you need to check out the first annual Blood in the Snow Canadian Film Festival, celebrating the best in contemporary Canadian horror filmmaking. The first and only festival of its kind is happening from November 30th to December 2nd at the Projection Booth East in Toronto, Ontario. Blood in the Snow features 18 filmmakers from all over Canada, highlighted in seven programs including zombie infections (SICK), psychological thrillers (IN THE HOUSE OF FLIES), dark sci-fi (BEYOND THE BLACK RAINBOW), grind house (FAMINE), art house (BLOOD FOR IRINA) and classic '80s slasher films (DEVIL'S NIGHT).
