Mark Hartley's (NOT QUITE HOLLYWOOD) long gestating remake of the 1978 Australian oddity PATRICK has finally gotten underway. First photo and full cast below. 

Star of the redo, as well as the upcoming festival hit YOU'RE NEXT, Sharni Vinson tweeted out more details on PATRICK from Australian film site IF, revealing she'll be joined by SIX FEET UNDER's Rachel Griffiths and Tywin Lannister himself, Charles Dance. The titular role has gone to Jackson Gallagher. 

Meanwhile, the Herald Sun premiered the first stills from the film, highlighting Vinson's role as nurse Kathy Jacquard, tasked with caring for the comatose Patrick who's vegetative state means no less harm for those who fall under his dangerous obsessions, thanks to massive psychic prowess. 

PATRICK is expected in Australian and New Zealand cinemas next fall.
