The ultra-fun found footage anthology V/H/S is going international in its sequel, with new segments from the filmmakers behind THE RAID, HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN and more.

THR is reporting V/H/S 2 will see returning contributions from Adam Wingard & Simon Barrett (the latter of which will make his directorial debut), but otherwise wipes the slate clean.

Joining the fray is Jason Eisener (HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN), who will bring his unique, splendid aesthetic to found footage, and Eduardo Sanchez (LOVELY MOLLY) who, having co-directed/created THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT, essentially ushered this wave in. Also on board is a segment from THE RAID's Gareth Evans, teaming up with Indonesian director Timo Tjahjanto (MACABRE). Tjahjanto's installment in another high profile anthology, THE ABCs OF DEATH is already making waves, and is sure to be one that sticks with most audiences.

The first film was often the target of misogyny criticism, and while original producer Roxanne Benjamin remains, it's interesting no female directors have been added. As for content, it seems reasonable to predict Wingard & Barrett will continue the first film's wraparound, "Tape 51," but who knows what we can expect from this frankly exciting roster.
