Apparently unclear on just what to do with MOCKINGBIRD LANE, NBC is considering airing their MUNSTERS reboot as a Halloween special.
After declining to take MOCKINGBIRD LANE—a reimagined MUNSTERS from Bryan Singer and Bryan Fuller—to series, THR reports NBC has decided to air the pilot this month to cash in on the spooky season.
The trade reveals that Singer and Fuller found themselves at odds with the visual direction of the pilot, which starred Jerry O'Connell as Herman Munster and saw the family coping with young Eddie's budding transformation into a man-ster. Portia de Rossi and Eddie Izzard co-star as Lily and Grandpa.
Excited to see what could have been? MOCKINGBIRD LANE is airing October 26 at 8 p.m.
