Released theatrically earlier this year following its world premiere at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival, THE DAY hits DVD and Blu-ray/DVD combo pack November 27 from WWE Studios and Anchor Bay Entertainment. FROZEN’s Shawn Ashmore, THE LORD OF THE RINGS’ Dominic Monaghan, THE LAST EXORCISM’s Ashley Bell, Shannyn Sossamon, Cory Hardrict and THE DIVIDE’s Michael Eklund star in this saga of a small band of people seeking shelter and food in a ravaged landscape, holing up in an apparently abandoned farmhouse and falling under siege by a group of vicious predators. The movie will be presented in 16x9-enhanced 1.85:1 widescreen with Dolby TrueHD sound on the Blu-ray and Dolby Digital 5.1 sound on the DVD, plus audio commentary by executive producer/director Aarniokoski, producer Guy A.
