TEXAS CHAINSAW 3D is a direct sequel to Tobe Hooper's sweaty, landmark indie, in which "a young woman named Heather learns that she has inherited a Texas estate from a grandmother she never knew she had. After embarking on a road trip with friends to uncover her roots, she finds she is the sole owner of a lavish, isolated Victorian mansion. But her newfound wealth comes at a price as she stumbles upon a horror that awaits her in the mansion's dank cellars..."
That horror is, of course, the hulking skin-wearer Leatherface, who in addition to keeping up his murderous habits, also seems to have been cleaning the house.
TEXAS CHAINSAW 3D comes from director John Luessenhop (TAKERS) and is out January 4, 2013. It looks slick and new, hopefully it'll be fun too? iTunes premiered.
