Nicolas Lopez's Eli Roth-starrer AFTERSHOCK is about to premiere up in Toronto. Check out its smashy, shaky first clip.
It seems the eponymous "aftershock" of the film isn't exactly another quake, but the slew of escaped convicts that start killing their way through Valparasío, Chile in its wake. This first clip, however, gets you right into mother nature's tantrum, complete with tons of crushing debris courtesy of whatever tourist hotspot the film opens in.
No confirmed word on distribution just yet, but Deadline previously reported the Weinstein Company was close to securing rights for both AFTERSHOCK and another upcoming Roth-produced genre title, CLOWN.
