Remember when found footage would posit itself as real?

In GRAVE ENCOUNTERS 2, a film student obsessed with the first film, and believing it to be genuine (I'm not sure which is more disconcerting) ropes some friends and heads to Briarcliff to get into it with with the ghostly patients, that one wheelchair and, as the clip reveals, Lance Preston himself, still wandering the dark halls. 

The film isn't going full throttle "this is real," but it's interesting to see the sequel go the "more than just a movie" route. Hopefully though, GRAVE ENCOUNTERS 2 isn't more of the same, in which any exploration of would-be interesting ideas will be replaced with digitally elongated ghost mouth.

GRAVE ENCOUNTERS 2 hits various forms of VOD this October 2 and sees the following late night theatrical plays the weekend of October 12.
