Work may be good for the soul, but it’s bad for the body in I DIDN’T COME HERE TO DIE, an indie shocker hitting select theaters next month. We’ve got the first look at the striking new poster after the jump.

Written and directed by Bradley Scott Sullivan and produced by HIT & RUN’s Kim Waltrip, I DIDN’T COME HERE TO DIE follows six young volunteers into the woods to take part in a humanitarian project, only to suffer violent fates (see the trailer below the poster). Level 33 Entertainment will screen the movie in conjunction with Tugg, Inc. and The Film Group on Thursday, October 11 at the following Rave Cinemas locations:

• Rave 18 Howard Hughes Center, Los Angeles, CA
• Town Square, Las Vegas, NV
• Baton Rouge 16, Baton Rouge, LA
• University 6, Philadelphia, PA
• Polaris 18, Columbus, OH
• Ann Arbor 20, Ann Arbor, MI
• Stonybrook 20, Louisville, KY

To buy tickets or request a screening in another city, check out I DIDN’T COME HERE TO DIE’s Tugg page. Level 33 releases the film on all home-entertainment platforms in January 2013; you can visit DIE’s official website and Facebook page
