On September 7-8, if you plan on being anywhere even remotely near the Riverside Drive-In in North Vandergrift, Pennsylvania with at least $20 in your pocket, you have no excuse not to attend the Drive-In Super Monster-Rama. This ghoulishly grand lineup of 35mm prints is not to be missed!

Starting at dusk on Friday, September 7, we have: THEATRE OF BLOOD (1973, pictured above), HORROR HOUSE (1970), EQUINOX (1970) and SON OF BLOB (1972). Saturday, September 8th brings: TWINS OF EVIL (1971), COUNTESS DRACULA (1971), RAW MEAT (1972) and PSYCHOMANIA (1972). Again, all 35mm prints! And as an added bonus, an array of vintage exploitation and monster-movie trailers, as well as classic cartoons and concession-stand adverts, will be presented between features. Admission is $10 per person, per day (little monsters 12 and under are free!) and if you’re worried about booking a hotel in advance, forget it! On-site camping grounds are offered for an additional $10 per person, per night. This includes breakfast, use of the restrooms and a few makeshift showers (to wash off the previous night’s sleaze).

Now, does anything sound better than a cozy weekend getaway under the crisp autumn stars alongside Ingrid Pitt, Donald Pleasence, Peter Cushing and Vincent Price? I didn’t think so. The Riverside Drive-In is located on Route 66 in North Vandergrift; check out their website for directions and more.
