Montreal arts and culture festival POP Montreal, along with Kier-La Janisse's Miskatatonic Institute of Horror Studies will be presenting WRITTEN IN BLOOD: SCORING HORROR CINEMA, a two hour lecture surrounding the use of music and score in the horror film.

Devised and instructed by FANGO editor Chris Alexander, the class will chart the history of musical composition in the horror film, specifically illustrating some of the finest examples of how music can radically accentuate and dictate an audience’s sensory and emotional connection to imagery.
