When I was in middle school, I had the second best collection of Garbage Pail Kids in my class; second best, because Craig had the entire series.  How did Craig have the entire series?  His dad owned the only hobby shop in town that sold them.  So while I, and everyone else in my class, had to squander all our birthday money Craig was getting them wholesale.  So there we were picking through his scraps, Craig was amassing a complete collection.  But all that has changed as now I hold all the cards.  All the Cereal Killer cards, that is.

From Wax Eye comes round two of their infamous Cereal Killers trading cards. Just as the name would suggest, Cereal Killers are a combination, or as the kids would say “Mash-up” between popular horror titles and concepts and our most beloved breakfast cereals. In a similar vein as Garbage Pail Kids, these super collectible cards cater to both the casual horror fan, as well as the super geeky amongst us.  Just like series one, series two features its devilish puns, such as Meaties a breakfast cereal for cannibals and Count Zombula (A zombie vampire?  Ok.).  For the more astute horror fan, there are those “part of this complete breakfast twist” on landmark films like, Salem’s Pop and Rosemary’s Biteys.  My favorite part of this series is the classic addition of some black and white masterpieces including Creature from the Cracklin’ Spoon and Bran 9 From Outer Flakes. 

So go out and buy the whole damn set like I did. Take that Craig!
