Media Blasters just sent over a fresh poster for DEATH KAPPA, the latest Japan-lensed project from its Fever Dreams production arm, which is heading for the Cannes Film Festival this month. Feast your eyes on it after the jump!

Written and directed by filmmaker/FX artist Tomoo Haraguchi, DEATH KAPPA is about a yokai—a benevolent small creature from Japanese mythology—that winds up enlarged into the title critter by an atomic explosion. The blast has the same effect on the half-human/half-fish creation of a mad scientist’s granddaughter, and the two titans square off, resulting in much city-stomping. Misato Hirata from ULTRAMAN MEBIUS, Mika, Ryuki Kitaoka and Daniel Aguilar star.
