The WHO CAN KILL A CHILD? remake has been retitled and set for unveiling at next month's Toronto International Film Festival. First looks at its menacing adolescents below.
Originally monikered CHILD'S PLAY (a change-up was eventual), COME OUT AND PLAY sees "a serene, sun-bleached Mexican paradise turned blood red, as a vacationing couple must uncover the mystery of a remote island populated only by children."
Narciso Ibanez Serrador's 1976 original is great. A frightening, and unrestrained Eurochiller, it will be undoubtedly hard to top. That it made the Midnight Madness cut is certainly a step in the right direction. COME OUT AND PLAY is directed by Makinov, no word on release just yet. For more, head over to TIFF.
