Ahhh, the 80's. To live through them was to cringe, but to look back from the distance of time is to have a fond appreciation of the garish, shiny pop culture landscape it provided. The horror film, especially, benefited from the "me" generation with a glut of rough, stylish, strange and morally aloof product being unleashed. In the case of the early part of the decade...the films were particularly violent.
Starting with the now in-production FANGORIA #317, we present a special new section to finish out the year called "CLASS OF 1982," an ad-free chunk of the mag where we flash back 30 years and spotlight some of the greatest films released in good ole' 1982.
Pictures like AMITYVILLE 2, PARASITE, THE SENDER, HALLOWEEN III and ALONE IN THE DARK are profiled with new and rare interviews, and tons of cool photos.
Here's a preview of a page from FANGORIA #317's first installment of CLASS OF 1982, an interview with Mark L. Lester about his wildly cruel classic CLASS OF 1984! Have a look and remember to get your grue delivered direct by subscribing to FANGORIA.
