Film4 FrightFest, London's long weekend of terror, whose lineup and locale pains me with jealousy every year has unveiled their 2012 rundown and it's a slew of globe-spanning genre. Indies (AMERICAN MARY, CHAINED, STITCHES), studio pictures (THE POSSESSION, SINISTER), remakes (MANIAC), sequels (OUTPOST II, [REC] 3, THE THOMPSONS), restorations (NIGHTBREED, THE DEVIL RIDES OUT), Asian scares (DEAD SUSHI), Eurohorror (TULPA, HIDDEN IN THE WOODS) and much more are all represented this August 23-27 in Leicester Square.
