If seeing BIKINI GIRLS ON ICE wasn’t enough for you, the creators of that Canadian slasher picture are now putting PINUP DOLLS ON ICE. They gave us the exclusive first look at the trailer (which is not safe for work) and info about the sequel.

The movie gives Moe the maniac a whole bunch of new targets when the Pinup Dolls are invited by a friend (Suzi Lorraine) to stage their act at a secluded campground. Geoff Klein encores as director from a script by Michael Penning, and produced with Melissa Mira, who also co-stars with William Jarand (returning as Moe), Karine Kerr, Kyla Shinkewski, Jordan Mae Antoinette and Emily Crighton; Alexandra Wilson supplied the makeup FX.

“I can definitively tell you that PINUP DOLLS ON ICE takes things to a whole new level!” Mira tells Fango. “When I went to see BIKINI GIRLS ON ICE two years ago at one of its screenings, the first thing I said to Geoff after the presentation was: ‘So, when are we making the sequel?!’ BIKINI GIRLS ON ICE left so many things unexplained that we had the opportunity to explore and make its sequel a more elaborate story, while respecting all of the traditional aspects of a slasher movie.

“We shot PINUP DOLLS in Lancaster, Ontario, for an entire month,” she continues. “Was it easy? No—but is it ever? I would be lying if I said that we had a blast and everything went smoothly, but thank God we at least had good weather! And I don’t think Geoff and I could have cast the film any better—I can honestly say we got spoiled. The Pinups are beautiful, funny and witty…and then they slowly turn into a pile of bloody hot mess under Moe’s ax. With writer Michael Penning’s help, I think we succeeded in giving the ON ICE followers what they told us they wished they had seen more of in BIKINI GIRLS. So we got rid of the bikinis and made our girls run, cry and fight for their lives in high pumps and red lipstick! It’s bloody, frantic and you definitely get some skin!”
