Looking to help gather funds for his upcoming GATOR GREEN, underground filmmaker Jim Van Vebber's earlier works are getting the big screen treatment in New York City and Long Island in the coming weeks.

First up, this Saturday June 30, Brooklyn Fireproof (119 Ingraham St) will play host to a $5 night of movies and music as Van Bebber's shorts MY SWEET SATAN and THE LAST DAYS OF JOHN MARTIN precede his 1988 revenge feature DEADBEAT AT DAWN. After, The Will and The Savage Sex Boys will tear it up.

Then, next Tuesday, July 3, Long Island's art-house and rep space, the Cinema Arts Centre screens his graphic crime docudrama THE MANSON FAMILY in 35mm. That event is $14 (get tickets here) and both feature a video introduction from Vanbebber, with proceeds going towards GATOR GREEN.

GATOR GREEN will tell the tale of a Veteran who returns from the war to take over the operation of an alligator farm in Florida. Much madness, mayhem and murder ensues.
