Montreal, already home to the incredible Fantasia Film Festival, is altering its Comic Con come September, with a specific place in the sun for horror fans. Head below for the first info on Montreal ComicCon's Horrorfest. 

This September 14-16 at Palais des Congres, the Montreal ComicCon will play host to not only a select section of genre-centric guests and panels, but special screenings of horror across the world as well. “The HorrorFest was the obvious next step in the Montreal Comiccon programming”, explains the HorrorFest coordinator, Steve Villeneuve. “It’s hard to separate horror from pop culture, and Montreal is a great place to promote this genre.”

It's first slate of guests include A CLOCKWORK ORANGE and HALLOWEEN star Malcolm McDowell, BUFFY's James Marsters and Nicholas Brendon, Gunnar Hansen (THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE) and of course, Troma president Lloyd Kaufman.
