The CRUEL INTENTIONS actor is helming a meta tale of torture.
Variety reports that Ryan Phillippe, who I don't think we've seen approach a horror movie since I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER, is heading South to direct and star in SHREVEPORT, the tale of a "fading movie star who is suddenly kidnapped, held hostage and tortured while filming a low-budget film in the Louisiana city."
Can we all conspire to make this a huge hit so Phillippe's name will attract financiers of MACGRUBER 2?
