The new Hammer is chugging along, adding a lead to their latest supernatural tale, THE QUIET ONES.
Deadline reports that the excellent Jared Harris (MAD MEN, SHERLOCK HOLMES: A GAME OF SHADOWS, has joined the film to be helmed by GHOST SHIP writer and QUARANTINE 2 director John Pogue. THE QUIET ONES concerns a professor (Harris) who, along with his students, venture to create a poltergeist.
No doubt, the strong success of THE WOMAN IN BLACK has done a great deal of service to the new incarnation of Hammer. It's wonderful to see their revitalization prove fruitful.
