Documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock’s new comic-con picture COMIC CON: EPISODE IV - A FAN’S HOPE, is about to see the light of select screens across the country (April 6th to be exact!) and, in a conversation with FANGORIA recently, the SUPER SIZE ME director gushed in true “geek” fashion over his love of all things Fango.

“Oh man, let me tell you something,” Spurlock sputtered when realizing he was speaking with the people behind the world’s pre-eminent horror film magazine.

“When I was a kid, I got my hands on the FANGORIA issue with the exploding head from David Cronenberg’s SCANNERS, issue number 10 to be exact. It was that magazine, my first Fango, that made me want to make movies. I still have it bagged at home. And I still love FANGORIA.”

For more on COMIC CON: EPISODE IV – A FAN’S HOPE visit Spurlock’s site, and keep an eye on Fango for a much longer talk with the filmmaker, hitting soon.
