THE HIVE, the upcoming thriller from SESSION 9 and THE MACHINIST director Brad Anderson has grabbed a young star.
Variety reports that Abigail Breslin (LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE) has joined Halle Berry in the film, penned by Rich D'Ovidio (THIR13EN GHOSTS). THE HIVE sees an emergency operator (Berry) in a 911 call center attempt to face her fears in order to save a young girl (Breslin) from the clutches of a serial killer.
Anderson told the publication, "Abigail is always wonderful playing vulnerable characters so I feel really lucky to have her for this role."
Hopefully, THE HIVE is much more deserving of the TRANSSIBERIAN filmmaker's talents than the lackluster VANISHING ON 7TH ST.
