Still a manuscript, Universal is preemptively striking on this DEMONOLOGIST book.
Deadline reports that the studio has acquired Andrew Pyper's DEMONOLOGIST manuscript, a book prepping to soon find a publisher via auction. The novel is the tale of a professor, embarking to get his daughter back from a demon who attempts to kill her in Italy. His is described as a "dark journey" and the our hero apparently has a strong interest in PARADISE LOST, so there must be parallels abound.
Also, father searching for missing daughter taken by demons in a foreign land? Why is this not TAKEN 2?
