Bradley Cooper can't catch a break with fallen supernatural entities.
Variety reports that Legendary has officially scrapped their adaptation of John Milton classic, epic poem PARADISE LOST. To-be-directed by DARK CITY's Alex Proyas, the film was to star Cooper (whose turn as THE CROW also recently fell apart) as Lucifer, and chronicle the war in heaven between Michael and Morningstar as an action-oriented vehicle.
It's a shame, as Proyas is a director that really deserves something tremendous, and as Variety was told, apparently his vision for this was. Sadly, the budget was failing to decrease in the face of necessary technology.
