Next week, Midnight Releasing debuts a new pair of indie shockers on disc, DORM OF THE DEAD and FILTH TO ASHES, FLESH TO DUST (pictured left)—the latter Midnight’s first-ever Blu-ray release. Read on for art, details and an exclusive clip from DORM.

Both titles street next Tuesday, February 7. No relation to the Donald Farmer flick of the same title with Tiffany Shepis, DORM OF THE DEAD was directed by Tobias Canto Jr. and Tyrel Good, and is set on a college campus overrun by zombies, where two brothers join a small group of other misfit survivors in a fight to stay alive. Special features include:

• Two audio commentaries

• Special FX tutorial

• 15-minute zombie makeup school

Director Paul Morrell’s FILTH TO ASHES, FLESH TO DUST is about a serial killer called Purge who terrorizes a group of high-school graduates, including the brother of a guy whose girlfriend was also slain by the murderer, and who sets out to save his sibling and get revenge. Extras on this one include audio commentary and behind-the-scenes stills; retail prices are $24.98 for the DVD and $34.98 for the Blu-ray.
