In news that's sure to quell remake-adverse horror fans (at least until her replacement is announced), it seems the star of Fede Alvarez's EVIL DEAD remake is out.
Variety's Jeff Sneider reports that Lily Collins (daughter of Phil!, star of Snow White adaptation MIRROR, MIRROR) has had to leave the upcoming EVIL DEAD re-do on account of scheduling conflicts.
Collins was to play Mia (effectively the new Ash in the tale), who along with her brother and group of friends convene at the now legendary cabin for an intervention and happen upon the Necronomicon, setting off all sorts of evil.
