It remains to be seen if WORLD WAR Z is a grand, sweeping epic, but those behind it sure think it is.
THE KILLING star Mireille Enos spoke with E! about the globe-trotting zombie film based on Max Brooks' novel, saying "It's like zombies are the new vampires. It's taking over. But somebody said to me this movie might end the zombie genre because, after this, what else is there to do? It's huge!"
Enos, who plays the wife of Brad Pitt in the film, also addressed recent talk of a possible trilogy: "It was [going to be] from the beginning. That was the hope, that if the first one turned out the way we all anticipate, that it would be great to turn it into a trilogy. It's exciting."
It would be really wonderful if the film matched the quality of the book, but it really seems the production is blind to just how deeply entrenched we might already be in zombie fatigue.
