Another look at Tim Burton's black-and-white stop motion feature has been unveiled.
The FRANKENWEENIE, a feature length version of Burton's 1984 short, tells of young boy who uses FRANKENSTEIN-like means to resurrect his beloved pet after an accident. Of course, repercussions follow.
The LA Times revealed the image while talking to FRANKENWEENIE's animation director Trey Thomas who explained, "What we're trying to create is Universal horror plus."
Winona Ryder, Martin Short, Catherine O’Hara and Martin Landau all lend their voices to the film, which hits October 5, 2012.
