INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE and THE COMPANY OF WOLVES director Neil Jordan is hard at work on his return to the creatures of the night, and some news and quotes have come in on the epic.
The Daily Mail spoke to lead actress Gemma Arterton about the film, which sees her essay Clara, a vampire aiming to protect her daughter (Saoirse Ronan) from those who wish them harm. Arterton and Ronan are only a bit of the impressive cast, which includes CONTROL's Sam Riley and now Jonny Lee Miller and Tom Hollander.
"She's brittle and she's a fighter," Arterton told the publication of Clara, adding, "‘There’s blood and vampires and all of that, but we focus on the mother-daughter relationship."
We've obviously seen Jordan handle period-set horror tales beautifully, and I can't wait to see what he does with this adaptation of Moira Buffini's play A VAMPIRE STORY.
