As opposed to the lovey-dovey preview for ECLIPSE released a little while back, the newest trailer for the third film in the TWILIGHT saga makes it look like the movie actually has a little more action and scary stuff to offer genre fans than its predecessors. You can see the clip after the jump.
ECLIPSE is the first in the series to be directed by a filmmaker with serious genre credentials (David Slade of 30 DAYS OF NIGHT and HARD CANDY), so it could be that he’s made a movie for us too, and not just the tweens of Team Edward and Team Jacob. We’ll all know for sure when Summit Entertainment releases ECLIPSE June 30; look for chats with two of its actors, DREAD’s Jackson Rathbone and GODSEND’s Cameron Bright, in Fango #294, on sale in May.
