Highlighting a piece of eerie Norwegian folklore, the teaser for THALE looks to be something to get excited about.
Twitch, naturally, brought word of Aleksander Nordaas' film based on tales of the huldra, a beautiful woman with a cow's tail and from behind, has the appearance of a hollowed tree. The huldra are said to lure men into the forest and murder them if not subsequently sexually satisfied, as well as steal human babies and replace them huldra ones.
The teasers below certainly give the sense that she's something to be wary of (Twitch has a higher quality version of the top).
THALE (which translates to TAIL) hits Norway in February, and hopefully a U.S. release for it and Norway's equally eerie-looking DUNDERLAND will follow soon after.
