Out of print for nearly a decade, IDW is bringing back the zombie comic DEADWORLD as well as putting out the first issue of their TRUE BLOOD series. More and info and the covers below!

ComicMonsters reports that the first seven issues of the original DEADWORLD series illustrated by Vince Locke will be collected in one volume (288 pages, black and white, $24.99) along with a collection of Locke artwork including pinups, covers, design elements and the original eight-page DEADWORLD story drawn by Locke.

The third season of Alan Ball’s HBO series TRUE BLOOD premieres June 13, and IDW is now publishing a comics series based on the show featuring your favorite residents of Bon Temps, Louisiana. The story was co-plotted by Alan Ball, with a script by David Tischman and Mariah Huehner and art by David Messina, who also did a special exclusive pullout gatefold poster for the first issue (32 pages, $3.99).

Both publications come out in July.
