Hansel and Gretel have grown up, and naturally sought careers in witch hunting. 

EW premiered the first look/image at Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton as the title characters of HANSEL & GRETEL: WITCH HUNTERS, the new film from DEAD SNOW's Tommy Wirkola which sees the legendary fairy tale characters taking aim at evildoers like the one who attempted to eat them as children. 

The site also has a talk with Arterton, who says that while comedic, the film is "very, very dark, and bloodthirsty." She also discusses being on set for a flashback which encompasses their story and notes, "The candy house, and the witches are really repulsive and quite frightening. The make-up is out of this world. It’s this bone-chilling scene. Very dark. The girl who plays my character is brilliant, with the horrified expression she has."

There's a trailer set to drop next week, and I'm very curious about it since I absolutely hated DEAD SNOW.
