Robert Englund gets his demon on in INKUBUS, an independent
fright film co-starring William Forsythe. We’ve got the word on its U.S. DVD
release and a first look at the art, and details also came over about its UK
disc, along with a couple of gruesome photos.
Directed by Glenn Ciano from a script by Carl V. Dupré, INKUBUS stars Englund as the eponymous villain, who invades a police station that’s on the verge of closing and terrorizes the night crew working there—especially Detective Gil Diamante (Forsythe), against whom Inkubus is seeking vengeance. Screen Media Films releases it Stateside February 21 (art below left), with a retail price of $24.98; further details have yet to be announced. In Britain, Trinity X releases INKUBUS on DVD February 6 (art below right), with a 16x9-enhanced 1.78:1 transfer, Dolby Digital 5.1 and no announced extras; retail price is £17.99.
