A gentleman who's face I only know from LAW & ORDER promos on USA is heading to Bon Temps.
TV Line reports that actor Chris Meloni, who is probably best known for his leading role on LAW & ORDER: SVU will join the fifth season of TRUE BLOOD as [possible spoilers, but probably not] an incredibly powerful vampire (aren't they all?).
It seems Meloni has a big following, which makes sense when one considers the addictive nature of LAW & ORDER. I've never seen SVU, so it's possible he totally rules. Also, I'm sure SVU has a similar guilty trash factor that attracts TRUE BLOOD fans, so it's easy to imagine lots of potential for crossover.
I gave up on TRUE BLOOD, and never read the novels. Should I get pumped for Meloni? Who do you think he'll play?
