We first told you here about BAD VIBES, a hippie werewolf movie currently in the works from ZOMBIE HONEYMOON’s Dave Gebroe. Now the writer/director has let us know that he’s about to start casting, and has a genre veteran helping out.

“Legendary casting director Nancy Nayor has not only given her commitment to casting BAD VIBES, but this week she will begin work on finding name actors for the project,” Gebroe tells us. Nayor herself, whose credits include DRIVE ANGRY, SCREAM 4 and the remakes of THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT, MY BLOODY VALENTINE and THE GRUDGE, says of BAD VIBES, “Werewolves in the ’60s is a genius idea. Dave Gebroe has proven with ZOMBIE HONEYMOON that he can direct actors beautifully and bring out their greatest potential in the horror genre. BAD VIBES is not just a great premise, it follows through and delivers in its execution as well. It’s sure to attract name actors who will go a long way toward making the film not just a cult classic, but a classic.”

BAD VIBES is about a psychedelic band circa 1969 whose members contract a lycanthropic venereal disease. “Things are about to get mighty interesting in the world of the hippie werewolf,” Gebroe adds. “Stay tuned!” We’ll be sure to bring you further updates.
