The director of the latest HAROLD AND KUMAR entry is mixing some horror into his next film, the New Line-produced FINAL GIRLS.
Variety reports that Todd Strauss-Schulson will helm the horror-comedy, which "follows a girl grieving the loss of her mother, who was a scream queen in the 1980s. When she and her friends are mysteriously sucked into the world of her mother's most famous horror movie, Max is reunited with her mom and must face the pic's crazed killer."
What do you think? The premise might warrant a good time, for sure, and sounds as if it could have fun looking at the differences and shifts of horror characters and audiences.
Besides, any time someone gets sucked into a movie, I think of LAST ACTION HERO. So there's that.
