It looks like cable TV’s favorite serial killer will have a
lot more cutting up to do, thanks to a deal that was just announced.
Variety reports that Showtime has renewed its hit series DEXTER for not one but two seasons, which will be its seventh and eighth. The network was able to make that commitment thanks to a new contract it signed with star Michael C. Hall, who also serves as an executive producer on the series. Each of those seasons will consist of 12 episodes each, with premiere dates to be announced. The current sixth season of DEXTER debuts its episodes Sunday nights at 9 p.m. ET/PT; see the official website for more.
